Ivy League USA – UC Merced Leadership Seminar 2008 at the Andaurora Ranch

This yearly event allowed scholars of promise from Sanger High School to prepare for the university and workplace by listening to well-known political leaders, university scholars and prominent residents with a “commitment to excellence” such as the Martha Elvia Rosas, Consul de Mexico de Fresno, and Mr. Raul Bucio, Owner of the Andaurora Ranch and International Breeder of National Champion Andalusian horses imported directly from Spain. Mr. Raul Bucio’s Andaurora Ranch is located in Merced, California just a short distance from the University of California at Merced.

PREPARING STUDENTS FOR THE UNIVERSITY AND WORKPLACE

Ivy League - University of California @ Merced Leadership Seminar August 8 & 9, 2008

The Ivy League - University of California @ Merced Leadership Seminar, August 8 & 9, 2008 with a “Think Tank” for school adn community betterment will serve 100 Senger Hogh School minority and disadvantaged students. Sanger High School is located in Fresno County. The Andaurora Ranch of Mr. Raul Bucio and The University of California @ Merced, cooperative associates in planning the leadership seminar are located in Merced County.

The Ivy League - University of California @ Merced Leadership Seminar, August 8 & 9, 208 was designed to help and assist central California schools and Districs with the highest minority-migrant enrollment and highest student drop out rate in California. Nine of the lowst performing academic institutions and Priority Improvement school districts in California - No Child Left Behind (NCLB) reside in Frersno County and Merced County..

The Ivy League - UC Merced Leadership Seminar Was Designed in association with the Andaurora Ranch in Merced California to bring forth and combine an academic “Think Tank” to address school and community betterment with an International County Ranch With Andalusian horses direct from Spain. Ivy League USA, Andaurora Ranch and The University of California @ Merced have a unique international spirit of cooperation to set the standard and raise the vision for minority and disadvantaged students as each students prepares for the university ands workplace. Each student shall have a strategic plan written for academic and professional success. Student meals at the Andaurora Ranch shall be provided by Fernandos Bistro, City of Merced.

The Ivy League - UC Merced Leadership Seminar, August 8 & 9, 2008 will address student seminar workshop to address: (1) UC Merced entrance Requirements and options available for minority and disadvantaged student admission to the 11 campus university facilities; (2) entrepreneurial opportunities for minority and disadvantaged studens;(3) Wells Fargo Bank officials shall address future employment opportunities and benefits; (4) elected national, state and public officials shall address the role of elected officials in support of minority and disadvantaged students.
